Every one of us has dreams \u2014 things we yearn for, work hard for, and tie our happiness to. We spend so much emotional, physical, and financial energy chasing them. Yet often, we neglect the\u00a0easiest and most powerful path<\/strong>\u00a0to achieving them: exposing ourselves to\u00a0the sacred breezes of divine mercy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cIndeed, your Lord has winds of mercy during the days of your life, so expose yourselves to them. Perhaps one of these breezes will reach you, and you will never be miserable again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imam al-Ghazali quoted this hadith in\u00a0Ihya\u2019 \u2018Ulum al-Din<\/em>. Though some scholars have questioned its chain, the\u00a0meaning is firmly supported<\/strong>\u00a0by other authentic sources. These divine breezes come in the form of\u00a0answered du\u2018a, uplifted hardship<\/strong>, and spiritual elevation \u2014 especially during specific, blessed times.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                                  All these are sacred times in which\u00a0du\u2018a is likely accepted<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0but only if the heart is truly turned to Allah<\/em>. As the scholars said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \u201cWhoever is sincere with Allah, Allah will be sincere with him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                                  \n\n\n\n

                                  Your Soul Needs Charging \u2014 Arafah Is the Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                                  Your soul is like a phone battery \u2014 it needs to be recharged. And\u00a0one of the greatest recharge stations<\/strong>\u00a0in the Islamic calendar is the\u00a0Day of Arafah<\/strong>. This is a\u00a0day of divine honour<\/strong>, a\u00a0day of forgiveness<\/strong>, and a\u00a0day of emancipation from Hellfire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said (narrated by Muslim):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \n

                                  \u201cThere is no day on which Allah frees more slaves from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses pride to the angels\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                                  Even your\u00a0worldly goals<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 success, marriage, children, livelihood \u2014 are\u00a0more likely to be answered<\/strong>\u00a0on this sacred day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  In a hadith narrated by al-Tirmidhi, the Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \u201cThe best supplication is the supplication of the Day of Arafah. And the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu\u2019l-mulk, wa lahu\u2019l-hamd, wa huwa \u2018ala kulli shay\u2019in qadir.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                                  In his book\u00a0al-Istidhk\u0101r<\/em>, Ibn \u2018Abd al-Barr said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \n

                                  \u201cSupplications and days differ in merit, but such differences are only known through divine revelation. The Day of Arafah, Jumu\u2018ah, and \u2018Ashura\u2019 are among those singled out for such distinction.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                                  Practical Plan for the Day of Arafah<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                                  To make the most of this blessed day, I advise you \u2014 dear reader \u2014 to\u00a0write down a personal du\u2018a list<\/strong>: everything you long for in this life and the next.\u00a0Call upon Allah with certainty<\/strong>, and you\u2019ll witness the astonishing power of answered prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember \u2014\u00a0Iblis worshipped Allah for centuries<\/strong>, yet fell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
